Chapter one: new girl

I looked at the door and took in a deep breath before opening it. As I walked in the teacher said that I was going to join the class. Once I got to the teachers desk she told to tell every one my name," hi I'm rose, and it's nice to meet you all" I said politely. Once I was done I went to the back of the class and sat down next to nobody. Once I looked up I realised that the class was staring at me and felt something sharp stab me in the back. I ripped it off my back and found out it was a piece of paper. I started to read it out in a whisper "I am the new girl so kick me!!" once I got to the end of the letter I said to myself sarcastically "well isn't that nice" and looked at the people in the class to see who it was; then I saw a girl with long blonde hair and a expensive bag start to talk to the boy behind her. The only one not laughing at me was a boy with dark blue hair, a black t-shirt and jeans.

After class I noticed that he was staring at me until all the other people left except for us and the teacher. When I stood up his eyes meet mine for a second, then I turned away and walked to the door not noticing that he got up as well. I saw some girls standing at the door and at first I thought that they were there for me until they started to yell "there he is!!! There's Jake!!!" while pushing me aside to get to him. Instantly I went to my locker making sure that they were not behind me. Once I got to my locker I stood there for a second thinking about the boy named Jake; I realised that jakes eyes were on me nearly all class and they were a shiny grey.

Once I finished my classes before lunch I got my money and went to the canteen. When I entered I noticed that Jake was sitting on one of the tables with a lot of girls and some of the boys in my class. So I tried to just act normal and walked on to the line. As I was lining up I noticed that Jake was staring at me again, and started to stand up and walk towards me. I quickly looked away before he noticed that I was looking at him. I could hear some people in the line saying that he never comes up to the line after getting his lunch. " hi" said a voice.

Chapter two: the kiss

I turned around to see that it wasn't him but instead another boy from the table. I looked at him and replied "hi" back. He looked at me for awhile then picked up a tray. As we waited for the line to move on he looked over his shoulder to his friends and Jake. After awhile of waiting I finally got my food, and just as I was about to find a seat the boy pushed me over. "what was that for!!!" I yelled at him; I was soaked in sauce and covered in salad, but luckily my drink didn't pour on me. As I got up I could see him staring at me and laughing at me. Nobody helped me until I had got up, a girl in about year 7 or 8 helped me pick the stuff off the floor. Once it was all cleaned up I picked up my non-opened drink and bag and walked over to the girl's bathroom to clean myself up.

Once in the bathroom I began to cry. After awhile of sobbing I began to clean myself up. While I was washing my face I heard some people outside talk about the seen in the canteen, and how I humiliated myself in front of everyone. Soon my eyes began to water again, but instead this time I stopped myself before I started to ball my eyes out. When the people left I took in a deep breath and walked over to my locker to get out my spare change of clothes. Once I had them I walked back to the toilets and got changed.

When I came back out I went into the canteen and took a seat, as I walked over to the other side of the canteen everyone stared at me, even the boy that pushed me over was speechless. As I sat down the girl from earlier came to ask me if I was alright; so I simply smiled and nodded my reply. As I sat there sipping my drink, I noticed that the table with all the mean people and Jake on it were looking at me. One of the boys stood up and walked over to were I was sitting and asked " so did you come back for another trip or just to see me?"

"oh fuck off will ya.... I mean didn't seeing me fall over and get dirty good enough for you, really, Or did you just come here to see me?" I said sarcastically.

"maybe I just wanted to know if you were alright" he said with a smirk,

"oh well that time passed when I was on the floor covered in sauce. So you can go and tell your group leader that he can stop sending you goons to annoy me" I said rising my voice.

"ok I will but before I go I just want one thing" he said with a grin,

"and what would that be?" I questioned him,

" oh just this" he said as he leaned over and kissed me

"ewwww..... what the fuck?" I yelled pushing him away. As he walked away I wiped my lips, to make sure there was no trace of his saliva there. As I looked up again I saw that Jake the boy from class, slap the one that kissed me cross the face when he returned and said something to him that I couldn't hear from were I was; but I could see all the shock from the other people on the table.

Chapter three: flash back

By the time I got home it was about 4:30pm. When I got in my cat blossom ran into the apartment before I could, I smiled at her enthusiasm and It made me forget about the seen at school today. I looked around my apartment and started to grin because it was only me and blossom. When I walked into my room I saw that blossom had already bet me to it and was sitting on my bed tail high, my grin became even bigger when I saw her lounging there. So I plopped my bag onto the bed and sat down next to blossom. As I pulled off my shoes I saw my picture on the bed side table. It was of me and my family. As I picked up the picture blossom sat on my Lap and began to purr. " there they are blossom" I said to her holding back tears, " there's our family. I sure do miss them. There's mum, dad, Sarah and Liam." as I began to cry I had a sudden flash back.

A car drove on the wronged side of the road and we had no time to react before it hit us, all I remember was that Sarah and Liam put their arms around me to protect me from the debris and the sudden pull forward. After that I awoke in a hospital and saw that all the people were astonished that I was ok. I told them that I was covered by my siblings and they took all the injuries for me, then suddenly I remembered the crash and started to look for them, but once I found them it was to late; their hearts stopped right in front of me. I cried for hours, begging for them to come back to me, but they never did. All the people at the funeral hugged me and said that they would take me in if I wanted, but I declined them all. When they were finally buried I over heard some people saying how sorry they were for me only being four teen at the time. Then it ended.

Chapter four: him again

When I finally got out of bed blossom had already left to go to the kitchen. As I got up I looked at the clock and found out that it was already 5:30pm quickly I got up and went to the kitchen and found blossom sitting at her food bowl. As I opened a can of cat food she began to purr and rub up against me. So I poured half of the can into her bowl and put the half empty can back in the fridge. I stood there for awhile looking at her eat and that reminded my stomach that I haven't eaten since breakfast. I open the fridge once again and pulled out a bottle of water. I drank half the bottle and put the rest back; as I shut the fridge I went to the pantry and pulled out a cup of noodles.

As I ate my meal I walked back to my room and took out some work clothes; which were a short dress, a apron, some stockings and some flats. As I got dressed I thought about Jake and how he slapped the one that kissed me; I still didn't know why, but maybe it was because I was new and no one is aloud to talk to me? I don't know. Once I was ready I said my good byes to blossom and locked my apartment. On the walk to work I started to think about the car crash. " I was only fourteen. It's only been two years since the crash. Why did they save me?" I said to myself. I walked on to work and when I got there I was about five minutes late, but because it's a big walk but my new boss let me of. My new boss showed me the people I'm working with. "There is Jain and Rick; they are the cooks, and the waiters are you, Rebecca, Jasmin, Mike and Jake" he said, " oh and my name is peeta. I hope you have fun. Hey Jake can you show around the new girl." he yelled. When I turned around to my surprise Jake was Jake from school.

As I looked at him I was speechless, I never guessed that Jake meant him. " ah, hi Rosa right?" he asked.

"ah, yer Jake from school" I replied.

"yer, so your the new girl here and school" he said,

"yep, I guess you could say that" I said, " so you gonna show me around?",

"ah, yer. So this your first job?" he asked,

"Yep, well the first around here." I answered.

We talked for awhile as he showed me around the café. After I knew where everything was I started working, as I went up to people I would greet them politely " hello I'm Rosa and I'll be your waiter tonight." Soon work was over, finishing at 10pm and I knew by the time I got home it would be 11.

Chapter five: the question

As I went to get my stuff and say good bye Jake pulled me over and said " hey do you want a lift home?". I was a bit shocked at his question and was speechless. "Rosa? Would you like a ride home or what?" he asked again. Before he left I answered with a nod and he smiled. " so do you live far?" he asked,

" only about an hours walk away" I replied,

" what and you walked all that way just to come here?" he questioned,

"yes, hey, what's wronged?" I asked,

"it's just so far" he said,

" it's not that far. Bye all i'll see you tomorrow. So can you drop me off or what?" I questioned him,

" yer I can, were do you live?" he asked,

" oh, only on dragon's court in Manchester" I said simply as I got my bag,

"ok, that's weird, I live in that court as well!" he told me shocked,

"oh well isn't that funny, I guess we are neighbours." I said sarcastically,

"bye see ya tomorrow" he yelled as we left. I was surprised that we were actually living on the same court, work at the same place and go to the same school. As we got into his car he said that his house was number 44, as I tried to remember what his house looked like I forgot to tell him my house number was 17. "hey Jake my house is number 17 ok so if you can drop me off there that would be great" I said before I forgot. "oh ok" he replied.

When he got to my apartment I said simply thanks and goodbye and walked over to the door. "hey Rosa do you want me to take you to school tomorrow?" he asked as I opened the door.

" that would be great thanks. Just come over at 8:15" I replied,

"ok see you tomorrow" he yelled as he left.

'Well isn't that nice of him' I said to myself. As I got changed; for some reason I couldn't get him out of my head, I knew that we have a lot of classes together which makes it worse. As I settled in my bed blossom ran into the room and took her usual spot on the bed next to me. I petted her till I fell asleep.

Chapter six: Shopping Time

It's been two weeks since the first day of the new school, and it's going on nicely. Since that first time that Jake picked me up we've been nearly inseparable; the only time we aren't together is when one of us is in the toilet or getting changed for PE. We've become good friends; but for awhile I've been thinking about him and me together, which makes me feel a bit more wanting to be with him. And I don't know why and what to do. The other day one of Jake's friends came up to us and invited him to a party. At first I thought he was going to say yes but instead he said "could I bring a person with me" at first the boy was speechless but in the end he said ok. "Hey want to go with?" he asked,

"are you sure, you don't have to you know I don't really know how to party" Rosa replied,

"I insist that you be my plus one to the party" he said gentleman like,

"ok if its ok with you" she replies as Jake starts to grin. " but if I do go ill have to buy something" she said half to herself and half to Jake,

"that's ok with me, just make sure you were something nice" Jake laughed. As soon as the talk about the party was over they left for class.

When school was over the only thing Rosa could think of was what she was going to wear to the party. She look through her closet to find nothing attractive to wear, she sighed and called up one of her old friends from her old school 20 minutes away. " hey Chris it's Rosa" she said,

"oh my god girl, I haven't spoken to you for ages, were have you been" Chris yelled into the phone,

"Chris the time for that is later I have a party to go to on Saturday night and I need a new outfit can you help" she said to her calmly, Chris was speechless for a second.

" oh my god, really you would let me help you?" she questioned Rosa,

"yep so call up Anna and Nicole were going shopping tomorrow after school" replied Rosa, " ill meet you in Manchester shopping centre, k",

" k ill see you then with the girls bye" she giggled happily,

"bye" Rosa said with a sigh 'ill have to open up my piggy bank' she said to herself. When she got her hands on the piggy bank she made sure that there would be at least $100 left, surprisingly she had $650 there and decided to get some shoes as well and took out $400.

She waited at the fountain in the middle of the shops were they used to meet up. Suddenly she heard sequels coming from behind her which meant one thing, they were here. She turned to find herself being hugged by more people she could handle, but hugged them back. Once the girls calmed down they began to walk around to look for something. By lunch time they found a cute dress and heels for Rosa to wear as well as some extra clothes for school. So they sat down and caught up with each other for awhile until it was 3 and time to go.

Chapter seven: Party Time!!!!

It was Saturday and time to get ready for the party, it was a pool party so just in case she wore a bikini underneath her dress. She did her hair in curls and put on water resistance makeup. When it was time to go Rosa said her goodbyes to blossom and grabbed her bag and keys. "hey, your looking hot aren't you" Jake said as she got in,

"not bad yourself" she replied,

"you bring your bathers" he asked,

"yer why?" she questioned him,

" well our going for a swim I know that much" he said with a giggle,

"just get going" Rosa replied with a laugh. Once they were there the house was already packed and destroyed by all the people there. When they entered they were greeted by a huge wave of yells. As Rosa found her way around the house she noticed that the boys eyes were on her. They all whispered to each other about they way she looked and how they didn't notice until now how cute she was.

After about an hour of being there talking to random girls about the way she looked, she went to find Jake when she was pulled away being told spin the bottle was going to start. She sat next to a girl called JJ and a boy called BJ, she still didn't know why people called themselves like that instead of there real names. She looked around the circle and noticed Jake was there too. For awhile she looked at him until someone said the game was about to begin. First a girl spines the bottle landing on JJ the girl sitting next to her. She walked over and soon began to make out in front of everyone.

Rosa sat there for about five minutes when a boy span the bottle landing on her. She looked around to see that it was the boy from when she came to the school. All the boys laughed at him saying 'go for it' and 'have fun'. I sat there as he leaned over and kissed me. She suddenly knew who it was, it was the boy from the table. Who looked at her the same way Jake did. We held the kiss for awhile until people told us to stop, but even the hardest I tried to get him off of me the more he held on. I tried my hardest until I couldn't take it so I slapped him across the face.

He looked up at me shocked then his open mouth turned to a grin. "come find me later, or maybe ill just find you" he whispered into my ear,

"not in my life" I spat back at him, and got up and walked away. First I went into the bathroom to think about what I just did and began to laugh. Once I was finish I went past the lounge room to see Jake leaning over to kiss one of the popular girls in his group. This just made me mad and I walked outside to see no one out there. I took off my shoes and dress to reveal a bikini. I tied up my hair and jumped in the pool. Not noticing someone following me. When I came back up I saw the boy that I kissed in spin the bottle and gave him a evil look before looking away.

Chapter eight: another kiss?

"Hey, sweetie whats happening?" he asked," can I join you".

"what do you want?" I asked him back,

"well, did you see that girl Jake was kissing. Well I'm her boyfriend and I want to make her jealous. So what do you think" he replied,

"well who are you anyway" I said back,

"well I'm Andy, and what would you say to the bedroom." he answered,

"well hi I'm Rosa and I don't want to go to the bedroom the most I'm allowing is a kiss or two" I said bluntly,

" fine but first come out and dry yourself off" he said with a grin,

"Fine" I answered as he helped me up. While I dryer myself Andy made sure we were in view of the spin the bottle group. He kissed me hard but I fought back to try to make myself dominant, but I lost and tried to stop but he wouldn't let me. When he stopped he pulled me over towards a room. I tried to stop him but he was to stronger so I yelled.

Chapter nine: half naked

the first one to react was Jake he got up and looked around to find me being pulled into a empty room and ran to the door. As Andy was trying to get my bottoms off Jake came in. "help me" I yelled at him,

"what the fuck. What you doing here Jake you didn't claim her, she's mine now" he screamed at him,

"just get off of me" I yelled at Andy as I ran to Jake,

"let's get going" Jake said to me,

"hey were you think you going" he said as he pulled me back by my top, but I fought back and found that he had also pulled off my straps. I was half naked in front of two of the most popular and sexy boys in the school. "ahhhhhhh" I yelled" don't look at me". Once I got my clothes back on, I ran out of the house and walked back to my apartment.

"blossom, here kitty kitty kitty kitty" I called for her. As I opened the door she ran in enthusiastically." oh blossom what am I going to do with you" I said to her half cheering myself up. As I walked into my room I started to think about tonight and what happened. I remembered that Jake started to blush when he saw me at the beginning of the night and also when my chest was shown. When it came to Andy he just grinned and almost got his hands on me. But Jake he acted to manly when he found me with Andy, thank god he got there in time.

Suddenly blossom had ran into the room and jumped up onto the bed and started to meow at me, I knew what this meet and went to the kitchen and gave her some more meat. When I had finished getting changed I heard a loud banging coming from my front door.

Chapter ten: girlfriend?

As I looked through the peer hole I saw a sad but blushing Jake. " what do you want" I yelled through the door,

"I just want to talk" he replied,

"what about, or do you just want another look" I said raising my voice

"you know I'm not here for that! I just want to say that I'm sorry" he said,

"fine, come in, but if you make one false move your out" I said as I opened the door,

"ok" he replied simply. As we started to talk I made us some tea. We sat in my living area, well what I called a living area. He began by saying how sorry he was about the whole Andy thing. I didn't believe him at first, but as he spoke on his words began to seem genuine. When he had finished talking we sat there for awhile, until he said something about the spin the bottle game. " so why did you kiss him?" he asked,

"I had to. Why did you kiss his girlfriend?" I said as a comeback,

"well just like you I was landed on. I didn't want to, I wished it was another girl but It didn't come true" he said,

"and who was this girl?" I asked as hatred started to bubble inside of me,

"you" he said looking into my eyes,

"wh what?" I asked " is that true?",

"yes, I wanted to tell you, but you left and I didn't want to upset you any more" he replied looking away,

"why would I be mad?" I said starting to smile,

" I didn't know if you liked me the same way, or just as a friend" he whispered,

"But Jake I like you too" I said as I stood up, " I just didn't know how to tell you" I told him as I sat down next to him,

"what! Really?" he asked, I nodded in response. He looked in the other direction for awhile pondering what to say. As he turned back I kissed him before he could say anything. We stayed there for a couple of seconds, I felt his tongue as it met mine in my mouth. We battled over dominance, but to be nice I surrendered to his lips and tongue. Once we finished making out he asked me a question " Rosa will you be my girlfriend" he spat out be for I could cut him off again. In reply I jumped onto him and kissed him from above. As I left his soft red lips I whispered into his ear a simple "yes".
